You Receive Error 1327 Invalid Drive: Error when Installing or uninstalling an application
Issue:
You Receive Error 1327 Invalid Drive: Error when Installing or uninstalling an application on your computer.
Resolution:
Click Start-->Run. In the Run dialog box type regedit, and then click OK.
In the Registry Editor, locate the following registry keys and look for the drives which are not correct for your computer
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
Right click on the Incorrect keys in the left pane and click on Modify
In the Edit String box remove and enter the correct drive letter in the Value data field, and then click OK. do this for all the wrong keys.
In the below example the key is pointing to k:\mydocs change this to the correct home drive letter on your computer c:\mydocs
Exit the Registry Editor.
You should now be able to do the Install/Uninstall.
