How to Contact Surya Support (Standard Support Hours: M-F 8am to 5pm)
The following document outlines three methods of submitting technical support (computer) problems to Surya in order of efficiency:
Method 1: Submitting a ticket via the Surya Icon in your System Tray
Method 2: Emailing Surya Technologies Support (support@suryatechnologies.com)
Method 3: Calling Surya Technologies via Phone
Please use whichever method you are most comfortable with – we look forward
to working on your support issues!
Method 1: Submitting a ticket via the Surya Icon
You can open a ticket via the Surya Icon in your system tray (lower right
hand corner of your screen, near the clock). This will allow the specialist to
determine the correct course of action and resolve your problem in a timely
manner.
1. Locate the Surya Icon
This icon runs in the system tray, located at the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. It looks like this:
2. Launch the Surya Support Icon:
Right click on the Surya Support icon and select Contact Surya Support
3. Once Surya Support launches – you will see the screen below open in a web browser window. Click on Create New Ticket to open a new support issue. Click on View Tickets to check status on current support issues. Also, please click on Change Profile to make sure that your contact information is entered – once entered, this information is stored in the system and associated with your computer.
4. Creating a New Ticket Once you choose to create a new ticket, please do the following:
--Enter a Summary or title for the support ticket
--Choose a problem category
--Under the “Enter a New Note” heading, type a brief description of your issue
--If necessary, click Browse to attach a screenshot or file from your local PC that would help us better understand your issue.
--Click Submit to create your trouble ticket
5. Once you submit your issue you will receive a ticket number within a few
minutes – this number allows us to track your support issue. Once we solve your
issue, you will receive a note – please read this note and reply if you have any
additional comments or concerns.
Method 2: Submitting a support issue via email.
1. Email support@suryatechnologies.com with a detailed description of your support issue.
2. Once you submit your issue you will receive a ticket number within a few minutes – this number allows us to track your support issue. Once we solve your issue, you will receive a note – please read this note and reply if you have any additional comments or concerns.
Method 3: Submitting a support issue over the phone via a support specialist or Voicemail
1. Contact us directly via one of the following phone numbers: (919) 838-2880 or 1-888-838-2884.
2. If you receive the support voice mailbox when you call our support line,please be sure to leave a detailed voice mail – we will use the voicemail to manually create a support ticket.
3. If you speak to a support specialist your issue will be recorded and a support ticket will be created. You will receive a ticket number both over the phone and via email. Your ticket will be added to the support queue.
4. Once we solve your issue, you will receive a note – please read this note and reply if you have any additional comments or concerns.
